Things to note:
1. The lid to the containers do not snap on. They lay on the top so they will come off easily. The lid is more for the purpose of stacking, not sealing.
2. Do not use the dishwasher to clean: it will ruin the plastic and vinyl will come off after prolonged dishwasher use. Hand wash with warm soapy water is best.
